After an impressive win at the Rio Major, Virtus.pro (Outsiders) became the fourth team to qualify for the BLAST Premier World Final. Now they will have to take part in the confrontation of the eight strongest teams, which will be held from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, three more participants of the BLAST Premier World Final have already been determined. They are Natus Vincere, FaZe, and Vitality, each of whom have won major tournaments throughout the year. Thus, four more participants should be determined in the near future. The final list will be clear after the BLAST Fall Final tournament in Copenhagen in late November. The winner will become the fifth participant in the BLAST Premier World Final.
Three more places will be distributed among the teams that will occupy the highest places in the BLAST ranking. It takes into account the success of teams at major events during the year, and right now the best chances to qualify are teams like G2, OG or Heroic. Ninjas in Pyjamas and Liquid are also eligible for a spot in the final tournament of the year, but they'll need to place high at the BLAST Fall Final to get enough points. ENCE also retains a chance to make it to the final list, but it will require a favorable set of circumstances.
