French cybersports player Remy «XTQZZZZZ» Konem is ending his partnership with Vitality. This was recently announced by the latter on her official Twitter account. The departure of the French coach from the team was not a big surprise for those who have been following its success: rumors that the team will undergo a major transformation at the beginning of 2022 have been heard more than once. In particular, back in late fall there were speculations that the French squad could include three players who had previously played for Astralis.
Despite the upcoming changes, Vitality continued to perform at a high level at the final major events of 2021 and finished the season well, finishing in the top three at IEM Winter, BLAST Premier Fall Final and BLAST Premier World Final.
After Vitality finished its last performance in the current lineup, one of its players Dan «apEX» Madeclaire was interviewed during the official BLAST broadcast where he thanked XTQZZZZ for his contribution to the team. Remy «XTQZZZZZ» Konem started working with Vitality towards the end of 2018, when its new lineup was just starting its journey to the top. Over the past three years, Vitality has won quite a few major titles and has twice appeared at the top of the world rankings.
