Spirit announced the creation of a youth roster

Cybersports organization Spirit has announced that it will expand its CS: GO roster, which currently includes players from Russia and Ukraine. She plans to create a youth roster consisting of six aspiring cyber athletes and a CIS coach. The team will be led by seventeen-year-old Robert «Patsi» Isyanov, who previously served as a reserve player in the main squad and also temporarily played for Espada.

Sergey «hally» Shavaev, a former professional CS 1.6 player, was chosen as the head coach. He used to work at Espada, where he trained Patsi and Abdul «degster» Gazanov. Alexey «OverDrive» Biryukov took part in the search and selection of players. Spirit's youth roster includes cyber athletes from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine with little experience in official matches.

In an interview published on the team's website, hally commented on the selection of players, noting that all of them demonstrate good abilities, strive to play at a high level and, most importantly, are able to learn and improve their skills quickly. He also mentioned that Patsi was given the role of in-game leader largely because the CIS professional scene lacks those who know how to successfully handle the position. Speaking about the team's immediate goals, the coach said that they expect to perform at the same level as the top-50 teams, as well as to ensure that at least two players grow into real professionals.
