The cost of a skin for CS:GO can increase for various reasons. It may be that the number of the item on the market is limited, too many players want to buy it, or the skin suddenly came into fashion because of the fact that some of the famous cyber athletes appeared with it. In addition, skins that have increased in value back in previous years and stayed the same in 2022 also made the list. Here's a look at what skins have been associated with the most famous item market events for CS:GO in 2022.
Sport Gloves| Pandora’s Box
It is not surprising that among the most expensive and discussed items are often not only skins for firearms, but also knives and gloves: due to the fact that the probability of their falling out is lower, the value is high even for relatively inexpensive ones. The unique feature of this glove skin in CS:GO is the combination of three colors – pink, turquoise and black. The newest variants with minimal signs of use can cost over $20,000.
AWP| Dragon Lore
Among the skins for firearms the most famous can be called without question AWP| Dragon Lore. The regular version of this cannon can cost several thousand dollars, and for a souvenir version can reach hundreds of thousands of dollars. The number of souvenir copies of this skin is small due to the fact that it can only drop from the souvenir cases of Cobblestone, and this card is currently not used at tournaments. Only about six thousand copies Dragon Lore – are currently available, which is not a lot considering the CS:GO community has over 20 million players.
USP-S| Printstream
A skin doesn't have to have an exorbitant price to make it to the list of the most famous and discussed. An example of this is USP-S| Printstream, which gained popularity in 2022 after launching Recoil Collection. Many people opened the cases with the aim to get this particular skin «Secret» quality. In the first months of appearance, the price for copies with low float exceeded $150, but by the end of the year decreased, and now the skin for USP-S has become more affordable, as well as other colorings from this series.
AK-47| Wild Lotus
Finally, another skin that has been in demand all year – is the AK-47| Wild Lotus. The cost of some copies passes over 8 thousand dollars. However, the opportunity to save money remains, as it looks pretty good even with a high float. The probability of getting a skin from the case while doing so is low, as it has «Secret» quality. So buying it could prove to be a worthwhile investment, as the demand for it is likely to continue to grow.
