Carlos Henrique Casemiro, midfielder of soccer club «Real Madrid» Carlos Henrique Casemiro has announced his Counter Strike team. He plans that the team, to be called CaseEsports, will soon begin competing first in Spain and then internationally.
The leaders of CaseEsports will be Denis «dzt» Fischer and Paulo «land1n» Felipe, who used to play for Brazilian TempoStorm. It will also include Felipe «delboNi» Delboni, who previously proved himself at INTZ and Imperial, and two young players coming out of FURIA Academy – Jan «yepz» Pedretti and Winkius «n1ssim» Pereira. The team's base will be located in Madrid.
In the past, Casemiro himself has played CS: GO many times with Brazilian cyber athletes or his Brazilian national teammates. Casemiro said he created the team in an effort to take a hobby he truly enjoys to a professional level: «I realize that building a team and the path to winning titles will take time and a lot of work, but I hope that players and fans will truly enjoy this project».
Currently, CaseEsports' short-term goals – are to successfully compete on the Spanish cybersports scene and start qualifying for international competitions. She plans to participate in the qualifier for DreamHack Open December soon.
