REPUBLEAGUE organizers told about the format of the next season

Tournament organizer REPUBLEAGUE has released details on how the third season of the competition will be run. The tournament prize fund will amount to 140,000 euros, which will be divided between the participants of the closed qualifying stage and the main part.

Four open qualifiers will be held in early and mid-February, with teams from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland taking part in two of them. The remaining two will feature teams from other European countries.  The winners of each of the qualifiers will be among the 16 teams that qualify for the closed qualifying round. Seven teams, including forZe, Apeks Etropiq Prague and SINNERS, have already received direct invitations to the event, with five more invited teams to be announced in the near future.

The prize fund for the closed qualification stage will be 20,000 euros. It will be played in a Swiss format and the eight teams with the most points will qualify for the final stage. The second and third place teams from the previous season (Eternal Fire and Entropiq), as well as four other teams, will receive a direct invitation to the main stage. Like last time, the prize pool will be split between the top four places, with the winner of the tournament taking home €70,000.
