CSGO Legend Series dates announced

VIE.GG has announced the dates for the next tournament in the CS:GO Legend Series. The games will take place in an online format from Aug. 31 to Sept. 13. 12 European teams will take part in them, and the total prize pool they will draw will be about $56,000.  This is the largest amount in the history of the CS:GO Legend Series. The event is organized by Esports Entertainment Group, with VIE as the main sponsor.

Magnus Leppaniemi, a representative of Esports Entertainment Group, said that the main objective of the event – is to provide an opportunity for lesser-known teams, which are usually left out of key competitions, to compete for big winnings. Other tournaments of a similar format are planned for the future, which will be open to non-top teams.

The tournament will be held in two stages. For the first 11 days, each team will play one match per day, earning points and cash rewards for wins. The top eight teams will then meet in the playoffs. The winner will receive $17,000. The line-up of participants has not yet been determined – the call for applications is still open.
