ROG Masters tournaments for teams from Asian countries have been announced

In mid-week, the organizers of the ROG Masters tournament announced the dates and order of play for the new season. A total of $32,000 will be awarded between the Asian teams that will compete in the qualifying and final matches.

The ROG Masters tournament series returns after a three-year hiatus. First, preliminary stages will be held in fifteen countries to select sixteen teams.  Registration will be open from February 8 to February 28, with national qualifying matches taking place in March and April. Professional teams will start their participation right from the final qualifying stage, while amateur and newly established teams will have to win the open qualification first. Among the countries where the qualifiers will be held – are Australia, South Korea, Japan, India, Singapore, Thailand and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

The winners of the qualifiers will receive not only a place in the finals, but also a cash prize. While the exact prize money for each country has not yet been announced, it has been confirmed that Malaysia and Singapore will each have a prize pool of $1,200, of which $800 will go to the leader and $400 to the runner-up team. Other countries can be expected to have similar amounts. In addition, the 16 teams that make it to the finals will compete for a $15,000 prize pool, of which $10,000 will go to the winner.
