Russian team Nigma Galaxy confirmed its title of the strongest team in women's CS: GO with a confident victory with a score of 2 – 0 over FURIA fe in the final of ESL Impact Valencia. Thus, the teams repeated the final of the last tournament of this series, where the same opponents met, and with the same results. Moreover, this time Nigma Galaxy's advantage was even more significant, as during the previous meeting between these rivals FURIA fe still managed to win one map.
Moreover, NIgma Galaxy did not concede a single map on its way to victory. The biggest resistance they were able to offer was the same FURIA fe, which Nigma won on Vertigo with a score of 16 – 11. In all other matches of the tournament the advantage of the Russian team was even more significant.
At the moment, Nigma Galaxy is represented by female cyber athletes from Russia, Slovakia and Romania. Throughout the ESL Impact Valencia tournament, like earlier in Dallas, Ana «ANa» Dumbrava was the best performing player. In addition, Ksenia «vilga» Kluenkova, Viktoria «tory» Kazieva and Katarina «Kat» Vashkova were among the top 8 players in the tournament. Interestingly, the highest rating at the tournament was shown by Olga «Olga» Rodriguez (1.41 on six cards) despite the fact that her team was defeated.
Thus, the first place of the tournament and the prize of 50 000$ went to Nigma Galaxy, the second – FURIA fe, and the third and fourth places were shared by NAVI Javelins and MIBR fe.
