Despite the loss that NAVI suffered in one of their first matches in the BLAST Premier Global Final last week, the team is well on its way to advancing on the tournament gridiron. On Saturday, it again met in a match with Liquid, and this time the CIS cybersportsmen managed to take revenge: the victory remained for it with a score of 2 : 0. Thus, NAVI is one step away from making it to the grand finals. On Sunday it will have a match against Vitality, the winner of which will face Astralis in a final confrontation. The one who will eventually take the first place will get a prize of 600 thousand dollars.
Interestingly, this time NAVI and Liquid played the same cards as the previous time – Inferno and Nuke. On both the fight was almost equal – Natus Vincere were able to keep both maps with only a slight advantage. From the very beginning they managed to gain some advantage thanks to active actions of Alexander «s1mple» Kostylev and Egor «flamie» Vasiliev. Later on Liquid began to play more confidently, occasionally trying to seize the initiative. Nevertheless, NAVI managed to keep the victory thanks to the coordinated actions of the players, as well as the fact that they took into account the experience of the previous clash with Liquid.
Thus, Liquid left the tournament, remaining in fourth place, and how the places in the top three will be distributed, will be revealed on Sunday.
