Astralis management announced that Frederik «LOMME» Nielsen will become the team's analyst. For the past six months, this Danish cyber athlete, now twenty-eight years old, has held a similar position at ENCE, and even earlier managed to work as Heroic's coach.
This appointment – is often a massive change that has been taking place in the team in recent weeks. Specifically, Alexander «ave» Holdt replaced Danny «zonic» Sørensen as head coach, while Christian «k0nfig» Wieneke and Benjamin «blameF» Bremer were added to the active roster.
LOMME has previously had the opportunity to work with ave on the same team, albeit in a different capacity: in 2017, Holdt was the coach of North Academy just as Nielsen was on the roster. LOMME also worked with blameF for a short period of time, when the latter was playing for Heroic.
Commenting on his appointment, LOMME expressed his hope that the cooperation with one of the strongest European teams will be productive: «To sign a contract with Astralis – is something that almost every Dane associated with CS: GO dreams of, and I am thrilled that it happened to me. It's incredible – to work alongside talented players and teammates, many of whom I've crossed paths with before at various stages of my career».
LOMME will begin working with Astralis immediately, and the new roster will make its debut in the coming days at the BLAST Premier Fall Final
