In this blog, let's discuss such a thing as graffiti in CS:GO. The topic is slippery, not accepted by many, reviled and… relevant. Some people clamor for nostalgia for the old CS 1.6, while others once again accuse Valve of donation and crude methods of monetization. Types of graffiti

There are two types of templates in the game:

Monochrome, aka monochrome. These are the ones that drop when you level up, and not always.

Rarity

Graffiti is divided into 4 classes according to the quality of drawing:

• Basic. Overwhelmingly, this includes cheap monochrome consisting of lettering, emoticons, stylized images and various actions. The cost rarely exceeds 25-30 rubles for a pak of 50 pieces;

• Superior. A concentration of beautiful monochrome models or highly detailed color patterns. The size of the graffiti themselves is characterized by increased dimensions. You can already find team logos, PRO players, commemorative tournaments and more. The price tag rises to 100-150 rubles;

• Remarkable. Cool completed compositions of large size. There aren't many drawings that fall into this category (Crown, EZ, Kawaii SWAT, etc.). The cost is impressive — from 150 rubles and above;

• Exotic. The one and only Morning Howl, the closest relative to the contraband M4A4 Howl that most players dream of. The graffiti also features a grinning fire wolf, and the price tag matches the rarity. 

The sprays come with a little trick: large-sized graffiti in skillful hands can be a good visual cover for a player.

Limit and frequency of use

A single template can be used no more than 50 times from the moment it is received. This is Valve's way of simulating the real consumption of paint in cans (but we know what this approach is dictated by). 

If you already have a certain pattern in your collection, and the same one falls out of the capsule — , the system will add another 50 uses to the main one. The total number of «sprays» will be displayed in the graffiti statistics. Thus beautiful and cheap graffiti in CS:GO can be prolonged almost indefinitely, if there will be time to put them in the process of combat. 

Shooting graffiti will not work — either once during the round or every 45 seconds (depends on what lasts longer). Many people have no time to make an extra movement, so they simply forget about the drawings. 

Such art on the wall lasts for 7 minutes, after which it gradually fades and disappears.

It's funny how Valve described «a rough» list of surfaces. And most importantly — you can't pick on it.

Unlimited room for creativity

According to the game logic, gamers can carry their entire Steam collection with them, switching between templates in their inventory. But practice shows that many people prefer 3-5 variants, which are periodically supplemented with new sprays through the trading platform.

Although the possibility is useful, but it is not a good idea to choose a drawing for 5 minutes, while the enemy is not slumbering and running with his tail.
