Swedish player Christopher «GeT_RiGhT» Alesund has announced the end of his professional career. He is now thirty years old, and in recent years he has had a lot of success, becoming one of the most recognizable figures in European eSports. He is one of the leaders in terms of the number of awards won during his career and has won the title of the most productive player at various tournaments ten times.
Christopher noted that in any case he does not want to talk about his final retirement from the game: «You never know how things will turn out. Perhaps one day I will feel the need to compete again. But now I've decided to take a break, and it may or may not turn into a final departure from the scene – .».
Now the player plans to get busy streaming and creating content. He said he first thought about changing fields back in 2016. Now the transition to a new role with the Dignitas team he previously played for seems perfectly logical to him. Christopher explained that as time went on, his interests grew broader and extended beyond playing CS: GO professionally. He now expects to put more effort into developing his personal brand by creating content related not only to CS: GO, but other games as well.
