Copenhagen Flames have announced that they expect to continue playing in 2022 with the same lineup, with players who excelled at the PGL Stockholm Major. Thus, the team denied rumors about a possible roster move to Complexity, which were voiced recently.
Daniel Vorborg, one of the team leaders, commented on the situation in his open letter as follows: «The best thing we can do now – is to continue to compete together in 2022. I also understand that, given the rumors that have been circulating, some may decide that this outcome is not to our liking. But I assure you: it's not».
Also, Vorborg said they will try to keep the current roster in place for as long as possible, but management understands that other organizations can offer players much better terms and large salaries, and that factor will always be considered. In-game leader HooXi added that after months in which the fate of the team remained unclear, he is happy with the decision. He said the sense of security and development opportunities Copenhagen Flames players receive are more important than the ability «to earn a round».
