Helvijs «broky» FaZe's Saukants was named MVP at the IEM Katowice tournament after his team won the grand finals. It was largely due to his efforts that FaZe managed to win Inferno after losing by 7 – 15. After the awarding, the Latvian cybersportsman gave an interview to the HLTV portal, in which he talked about his preparation for the tournament. He noted that the mentioned Inferno game had a great psychological significance for the team: having won a series of rounds in a row, the players felt that they could win the whole match.
For broky, this is the first MVP title and the best performance of his career. Talking about his preparation, the cyber athlete mentioned that he changed a lot of things in his preparation before this tournament, but he doesn't know what had the biggest impact: «I think I was as confident as I usually am, I didn't feel any rush of confidence. We just played the way we usually play and we managed to win the tournament».
Replacing one of the players was also not a big problem for the team: it was not the first time in its history. In the new lineup, the members practiced a lot of typical situations, which made Justin «jks» Savage able to handle both roles he needed to fulfill on the team.
