BIG have created a new youth roster

German cybersports organization BIG announced at the end of the week the creation of a youth roster, which will include promising players. Its lineup was announced Thursday. It includes five players aged 18 – 19 who performed the best in the qualifiers that took place from mid-January.

The initial roster consisted of 120 players who played in the German FACEIT hub called GoBIG League. Their progress was monitored by several experienced cyber athletes, including coach Tugai «TuGuX» Keskin and renowned BIG player Fatih «gob b» Dayik. They took several criteria into account, including game performance, ability to think tactically, ability to communicate with other players and plan cooperative actions.

A previous project for young players was launched by BIG back in 2018, and it has become a steady source of talented cybersports players for the German scene. Previous BIG Academy roster starters Karim «Krimbo» Moussa and Max «PANIX» Hangebruch both ranked in the top 100 of the world rankings.

BIG manager Daniel Finkler said he is looking forward to seeing how the team develops in the coming months under the coach's guidance. The main goal of the project – is to develop the skills of the players, preparing them for professional performances.
