The Aurora Cybersports organization has officially announced its CS:GO roster after qualifying for the European RMR tournament. The roster includes players from Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The coach of the team was Ukrainian cyber sportsman Sergey «starix» Ishchuk, and his assistant – Evgeniy «bullet» Batkin.
The roster was formed in early August, before the start of the qualifiers for the Rio majors. Aurora was able to qualify for the European RMR tournament on their first attempt, defeating Astralis and BLUEJAYS. It went on to lose to Falcons in the semifinals, but the resulting spot was enough to qualify.
Aurora has several young players, such as Evgeny «delus1onn» Plottsov, formerly of VP.Prodigy, and Alexander «KaiR0N» Anashkin, who did well at Spirit Academy. Also in the roster are more experienced cyber athletes - Amin «sugar» Azimov, who already participated in the European ranking tournament during the selection for the major in Antwerp, and Viktor «Lack1» Boldyrev, who played for Entropiq for a year. The ingame leader of the lineup is Artem «RaiLWAY» Gradovich.
Aurora is now playing at CCT Central Europe, where it will face such teams as Copenhagen Flames, forZe and MIBR.
